WorldSBK is the official application of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship 2017, designed with the aim to enhance the experience of motorcycling fans and follow the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship in a unique and engaging way. The app allows you to stay updated on every detail of the SBK world, experience the qualifying session and every race with the feeling of being right there on the track.
For the 2017 edition of WorldSBK we completely redesigned the experience and the interface of the app, developed by us for the Championship 2015. We have improved and implemented the "Second Screen" feature that allows live use: Live Audio, with SBK paddock official commentary, Live Timing and Live Tracking represent a unique offering for SBK fans.
The 2017 version of the application, in addition to images, original information and video has seen the migration to a new platform. For development we used Xamarin Forms, a powerful tool that allows transversal development, on the three platforms, Android, iOS and Windows Phone, of both the interface and the app engine. The application offers a user experience totally redesigned and enhanced, providing a more intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Through the redesign of the application structure, we focused on optimizing performance and, at the same time, maintaining the immediate use of the content. The information section, with news, photos and videos, runs side by side with the technical area, with information on races, 2017 calendar, circuits, drivers in each category, drivers and constructors table and results updated in real time. The live experience is guaranteed through these new features:
WorldSBK offers fans an app capable of improving the user experience of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship 2017, with a comprehensive selection of content and improved features. The live section was strengthened and expanded to make the app even more useful for every live event. SBK fans benefit from a single channel to experience, through smartphone and tablet, the SBK world of racing in 2017.
The app is available for iOS devices and Android versions.
